WEEK-LONG and LONGER

This charter offering can be booked from one of our three Charter Plans: ‘All-Inclusive Plan’, ‘Skipper Plan’, and ‘Bareboat Plan’.

The ‘All-Inclusive Plan’ includes the yacht, Captain and all provisioning for the entire week or longer. Provisioning will include snacks, meals, and beverages (both non-alcohol and alcohol). Guests are surveyed in advance to determine meal and beverage preferences. You will enjoy three gourmet meals per day with the exception of on-shore dinners. At least two dinners during a week-long cruise are enjoyed at local dining establishments on shore. Guests are responsible for anything purchased, including the meals, on shore.

The ‘Skipper Plan’, will include the yacht and Captain, and the guests provide their own provisioning for themselves and the Captain.

As the standard cruise offering for both the ‘All-Inclusive’ and ‘Skipper’ Plans, guests are expected to prepare their own meals with their Captain’s assistance. However, arrangements can be made for an on-board Chef, and if so desired, please see pricing page for more details.

The ‘Bareboat Plan’ is typically available, for one week or longer, to qualified guests who charter the vessel on their own and do their own provisioning. COSMOS reserves the right to refuse a bareboat charter, if in its view, the guests lack the necessary skill and competence to navigate and handle the vessel safely. In this case, the guests will be required to hire a Captain for the charter.

Bareboat guests can expect a thorough check-on before departure that will involve reviewing the workings of the vessel’s operating / safety systems and a chart briefing. Typically the check-on will take 2 to 3 hours including a test sail. Check-on times tend to be shorter for guests who have previously chartered the same vessel. A standard bare-boat charter week runs from 1000 (10am) the first day, until 1400 (2:00 pm) on the seventh day or last day of charter. Charges do apply for late returns.
